The tempest, with its unrestrained fury, wreaked havoc on their humble abode, mercilessly ripping the roof from their sanctuary and flinging it a staggering 50 feet away.
Yet, amidst the chaos and destruction, a glimmer of hope shone through the darkness—the residents, miraculously, remained unscathed by the calamity that befell them.
Swift to the call of duty, the valiant firefighters of Lutong arrived promptly at the scene mere moments after the distress signal pierced the air at 6:10 pm, their timely arrival giving some reassurance in the face of nature’s wrath.
As the night wore on, the extent of the storm’s wrath became evident, not sparing other parts of the dwelling from its ferocity, causing further devastation and despair.
In the distant Limbang District, a parallel tale unfolded, as another storm unleashed its fury, causing a roof to crumble and descend upon a parked car with an ominous crash. Once again, fortune favoured the unscathed, as no injuries were reported in the wake of the calamity.
Responding swiftly to the call for aid at 5:59 pm, the tireless firefighters of Limbang sprang into action, their unwavering dedication to duty a testament to their commitment to safeguarding the lives and property of the residents.
