KUCHING: The number of Malaysians registered in the Central Database Hub (PADU) stood at 10.85 million on the last day of registration yesterday (Mar 31).
PADU, on its official Facebook page, said the total registration had reached 10.85 million as of noon on Sunday (Mar 31).
Selangor recorded the highest registration with 1.74 million out of the 10.85 million Malaysians.
Meanwhile, the second highest number of registrars was Johor, which saw 1.25 million registrars, while Perak recorded the third highest at 1.09 million registrars.
Sarawak, on the other hand, recorded 0.91 million registered individuals.
The Malaysian government has launched a single platform known as the PADU on Jan 2, aimed at being the government’s primary source in targeted subsidy distribution and aid disbursement.
The final registration for PADU was until Mar 31 for both online and physical.
