KUCHING: In a move to promote a healthy lifestyle through sports, Saberkas Batu Kitang branch will be holding a Ten-pin Bowling Competition at the E-Mart Megaland Batu Kawa, here,on April 23.
According to Saberkas Batu Kitang secretary, Shamsudin Unai, 11 teams are expected to take part in the competition, namely Saberkas Sarawak State, Saberkas Batu Kitang branch, SUPP Batu Kitang branch, SUPP Batu Kawa branch, SUPP Kota Sentosa branch, PBB Batu Kitang branch, PBB Kota Sentosa branch, PBB Batu Kawa branch, Padawan Municipal Council (MPP), PDRM and Media.
“We expect stiff competition. Nevertheless, the atmosphere will be definitely merrier,” added Shamsuddin recently.
He said the objective of the competition is to strengthen relationships between all Saberkas branches.
Meanwhile, Batu Kitang Assemblyman, Lo Khere Chiang is expected to give away the prizes.
