KABONG: One hundred and twenty-eight pupils of SK Abang Leman here have received cash vouchers from Sarawak Foundation.
The vouchers were presented to them by Kabong assemblyman Mohd Chee Kadir yesterday.
Each voucher worth RM200 is for the students to buy school uniforms.
Speaking at the function, the assemblyman said the students should be grateful to the government for providing them with quality education.
He also called on them not to let the opportunity of educating themselves go by as many children in other countries did not have the chance to go to school.
