SERIAN: Thirteen schools here received Yayasan Sarawak School Uniform Assistance Vouchers on Friday (Sept 4).
These 13 schools were SMK Serian, SJK Chung Hua Serian, SJK Pangkalan Bedup, SK Lebur Remun, SK Koran, SK Melansai, SK Riih Daso, SK Pengkalan Sorah, SK Serian, SK St Patrick Tangga, SK St Henry Slabi, SK Bedup, and SK Merakai.
The presentation ceremony of the assistance vouchers for Bukit Semuja constituency was held at the Ranchan Multipurpose Hall here.
Bukit Semuja assemblyman John Ilus expressed his gratitude for the cooperation of the Serian Division Resident’s Office, Sarawak Education Office, and Yayasan Sarawak in distributing the assistance vouchers fairly.
Also present at the ceremony were political secretary to the Chief Minister Dr Simon Sinang Bada, Mohd Faizal Jaafar representing the director of Yayasan Sarawak, Serian Division Education Officer Jamali Sunang, Wee Chung Yee representing the Serian Division Resident and other representatives.
