MOSCOW: Fourteen Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) employees are being held hostage by Israel, the PRCS has said, adding that their whereabouts remain unknown, reported Sputnik.

“The Israeli occupation continues to detain 14 PRCS members, whose whereabouts remain unknown. Their families and colleagues are deeply concerned for their safety, as there are reports of torture and humiliation based on testimonies from released colleagues,” the PRCS said on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday.

The organisation called on the international community to intervene and “pressure Israeli authorities to immediately release our detained teams”. – BERNAMA-SPUTNIK
