KUCHING: Forest Department Sarawak enforcement personnel arrested a lorry driver and seized 149 timber logs at Simpang Tondong, Bau-Kuching Road at 11.30am on Sunday.
The timber logs of various sizes, valued at RM18,000, were seized.
A spokesman said the arrest was carried out by a team of enforcement members from the Kuching Forest Department.
The lorry driver failed to produce any relevant documents.
All the seized items were sent to the regional office for further investigation.
