MIRI: Journalists from the print and broadcast media in Sarawak are invited to submit their entries for the Kenyalang Journalism Awards (KJA) at the latest by July 15.
Federation of Sarawak Journalists Associations president Andy Jong Wan Joon said entry forms could be obtained from KJA committee members or through Kuching Division Journalists Association, Sibu Journalists Association, Institute of Rejang Journalists and Northern Sarawak Journalists Association.
“The entry forms must be submitted to the Secretariat, Kenyalang Journalism Awards 2017, Angkatan Zaman Mansang (Azam Sarawak), Jalan Crookshank, 93000, Kuching, Sarawak,” he said in a statement yesterday.
Jong said the last date for entries for the Digital Economy Award category, which was proposed by Chief Minister Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg this year, is Aug 31, 2017.
“For the Digital Economy Award, entries must be published between February and August this year while for other categories, articles published in 2016 are eligible to compete,” he said adding that the KJA would be held in Miri city on 22 Nov.
