MUKAH: The Dalat Service Centre distributed food baskets to 15 persons-under-surveillance (PUS) at the Kingwood Resort quarantine centre, 15km from town, on Thursday (Feb 18).
Parti Pesaka Bumipuetra Bersatu (PBB) Dalat Women head Hatiah Spawi handed over the contributions.
She reminded all PUS, who are from Dalat, to always adhere to the instructions given by the frontliners manning the quarantine centre.
She was representing Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister and Dalat assemblywoman Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah.
Meanwhile, Bidin Suhai, 62, from Balan, Oya in Dalat, thanked the minister for her concern. He was one of the PUS in quarantine.
The package contained food, drinking water and hand sanitizer.
Kingwood Hotel Resort quarantine centre commander Tarmizi Sapian was also present.
