MIRI: The police arrested 15 Vietnamese women believed to have been involved in prostitution in Bintulu.
The women, aged between 22 and 35, were picked up in an operation dubbed ‘Ops Noda’ conducted at two commercial premises at 10.40pm on Monday, Bintulu Police chief Supt Zailani Amit said in a statement yesterday.
He also said that two caretakers, one of them a woman, were also arrested, along with 10 Malaysian men and an Indonesian man who were believed to be customers.
Zailani said the police seized receipts bearing the names of customers, used condoms and record books in the raid.
