SAMARAHAN: A total of 160 houses in the Sadong Jaya constituency will be renovated through the Sarawak Housing Repair Programme for the Poor (PPRMS) for this year.
According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) today (Feb 9), Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development Aidel Lariwoo said all the villagers in the constituency will not be missing out on receiving PPRMS.
“It is depending on their needs especially replacing the roof of the house and so on,” he said after chairing the coordination meeting of PPRMS projects in the Sadong Jaya area.
Aidel, who is the Sadong Jaya assemblyman, added that the Village Security and Development Committee (JKKK) also played an important role in screening and holding discussions to provide assistance to those in need.
He also reminded all the community leaders and headmen (KMKK) to ensure that every project be constantly monitored so that unsatisfactory things do not happen and become an issue.
