BINTULU: A total 166 individuals comprising the elderly and high-risk groups received their first dose of vaccine as part of the National Covid-19 Immunisation Programme for Phase II on Saturday (May 22) at Dewan Sukan Tatau here.
Assistant Minister in the Chief Minister’s Department (Native Laws and Customs) Datuk John Sikie Tayai, who is also Kakus assemblyman, visited the vaccination centre on that day to monitor the situation.
He was accompanied by Acting Tatau District officer Calvin Ligong, Bintulu Youth and Sports officer Kigen Satong and Tatau administrative officer Winnie Dian.
