KUCHING: Seventeen staff of the Registrar of Societies (RoS) Sarawak went for health checks at its office here yesterday.
Led by its director Georgina Apphia Ngau, the programme aimed to encourage the RoS staff to undergo routine health checks to assess their fitness level.
“This event also allows the staff to have their health checked while they are busy carrying out their duties.
“This will create awareness among them of the importance of maintaining personal health,” explained Georgina.
In addition to the health screening, a representative from Advanced Pathology (M) Sdn Bhd Dr Bego Sepop also briefed the staff on the importance of personal health.
