SIBU: A total of 17 graduates received their scrolls at the Methodist Theological School 22nd graduation event held at Masland Methodist Church here on Saturday (Oct 24).
The school principal Rev Dr Khoo Ho Peng was in attendance to give away the scrolls to the graduates in various diploma, bachelor and master courses.
Out of the graduates, five of them were conferred with Diploma of Christian Studies. These included Chua Geok Chin, Khoo Choon Sing, Tiong Mee Hung, Jenny Lim Chia Jing and Lee Ngan Chiew.
Law Han Lin graduated with Diploma in Family and Counselling Ministry.
For Theology programme, Finsen Wong Lee Ying graduated in Bachelor of Theology while Chuo Quan Wei and Liu YuHang obtained Bachelor of Divinity.
The recipients for Master of Divinity were Dorothy Yet Yung Fong, Eric Su Chii Mou and Yong Leong Chai.
Wong Kiing Hung and Wong Leong Teck received their scrolls in Master of Christian Studies.
The other three graduates were Leong Hui Fung, Yap Li Chin and Sii Tiing Seng who obtained Master of Ministry Programme. Also present at the ceremony was president of Tamil Annual Conference Rev Dr Dennis Raj who presented a sermon on “New Beginning”.
