KUCHING: Eighteen locations in eight districts in Sarawak will undergo enhanced movement control order (EMCO).
The 18 locations are located in the districts of Tatau, Sebauh, Lubok Antu, Subis, Beluru, Betong, Serian and Simunjan.
“From Sept 2 until Sept 15, Rumah Suang Anak Gambai in Nanga Sana, Rumah Enggul Anak Ujan in Sungai Selitut and Rumah Norma Anak Sanggat in Jalan Semarakan in Tatau District, Rumah Beraoh Anak Emperan, KM8 and Rumah Timban Anak Metan, Sg Setulai both in Jalan Sebauh- Bintulu in Bintulu are under EMCO.
“Rumah Idat, Lubok Subong in Lubok Antu District will undergo EMCO from Sept 3 until 16,” said the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC).
Sarawak Oil Palms Berhad, Suai 1 Estate (Gelasah Division) and Gelasah Palms Oil Mill, KM120, Jalan Miri-Bintulu both in Subis, Kampung Long Aton in Tinjar and SK Long Aton, Ulu Tinjar in Beluru are under EMCO from Sept 3 until 17.
From Betong, Rumah Tayan, Nanga Penebak in Ulu Layar, Rumah Bantan in Sungai Langit and Rumah Edward in Batu Lintang; Kampung Mapu Kijabu, Kampung Mapu Tantu, Kampung Mapu Sadong and Kampung Mapu Tragus in Serian, and Kampung Spaoh/Kiri, Kampung Spaoh Raba Baru and Kampung Spaoh Engkabang will be under EMCO from Sept 4 until 17.
SDMC also ended EMCO at eight locations, namely Rh Betie, Kampung Jaong Asal, Pantu in Sri Aman on Sept 2.
EMCO also ended on Friday at Kampung Tanah Hitam 1 dan Kampung Tanah HItam 2, Sematan in Lundu, Kampung Sebayor, Kota Samarahan in Samarahan, Kampung Semalatong (Simpang Semalatong and Semalatong Indah), Kampung Samalatong Lama, Kampung Samalatong Baru, Kampung Sungai Semabang and Kampung Sibau Rumbau in Simujan District.
Restrictions were also lifted at Rumah Layuh Anak Muyang in Jalan Ulu Sebauh, the rental room (above Daiken Café) in Tanjung Kidurong and Restoran An. Najah workers rental room in Bintulu.
“Meanwhile, EMCO at Rumah Achi Sungai Baladian in Julau District will end on Sept 4.”
