MUKAH: 200 needy Muslims from Mukah and Balingian areas received the National Farmers Association (NAFAS) Zakat 2017 presented by the Mukah Area Farmers’ Organisation (Mukah PPK).
Held at RECORDA Building, the zakat (tithe) presentation was graced by Balingian Assemblyman Abdul Yakub Arbi.
The recipients must be PPK members, Muslims, monthly assistance recipients of Welfare Department (JKM) and membership must be confirmed by the PPK Unit Head.
Also present were Mukah Division Agriculture Department Assistant Officer Christopher Dawat, PPK Mukah General Manager Pekasa Agat and PPK Mukah Chairman Manuchihr Smith.
