SERIAN: The 2021 State Budget which is expected to be tabled in the coming State Legislative Assembly (DUN) will be a pro-development budget.
This was mentioned by Deputy Chief Minister Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, who did not reveal much about it.
Uggah, who is also the Second Finance Minister, was asked by reporters to briefly give details on the budget that will be tabled in the DUN sitting next month.
“No, no, no, I swore to the Cabinet to keep secret (on the budget), but it is going to be pro-development,” he told reporters when met.
Earlier, Uggah was officiating at an Agriculture Community Outreach Programme (AgriCOP) closing ceremony at Balai Babuk Barum, Kampung Bunan Gega/Bunan Punok, Serian today.
Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg, who is also the Finance Minister, will be tabling the coming State Budget.
The DUN sitting is expected to be held from Nov 9 to 18.
