27 receive MRP grants from Jinep

BAU: A total of 27 recipients received Minor Rural Project (MRP) grants amounting to RM211,400 from Deputy Minister of Transport (Riverine and Marine) Datuk Henry Harry Jinep.

According to a report from the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), Jinep, who is the Tasik Biru assemblyman, presented the grants at his service centre recently.

Among the recipients were the Village Development and Security Committees (JKKK) of Kampung Sudoh, Kampung Bogag, Kampung Stungkor Lama and Kampung Stom Muda.

Meanwhile, the non-governmental organisation (NGO) recipients were Lung Hua Kong Musi Devotees Association, Fu De Bidi Temple Buddhists Association, Na Zha San Tai Zi Temple Buddhists Association, Bau Folk Dance Association, Jong D’Bau Recreational Sports Club, Che Wu Khor Uplifting Society Association Jambusan Bau and Pudu Zhongyuan Bau District Association.

The Bau District Police Club, SMK Lake Parents and Teachers Association (PTA), Kampung Bogag and Kampung Sri Leng Women’s Bureau, Tabika Kemas Kampung Duyoh, Kampung Segong RELA, Nurul Hidayah Mosque Kampung Atas Singai, Kampung Serasot Youth and Sports Bureau, Kampung Skiat Baru Education Bureau, Kampung Melayu Seberang Buso Youth Club, Barieng Longhouse and Kampung Segong Youth Club also received the MRP grants.
