KUALA LUMPUR: New Covid-19 infections in Malaysia remains above the 2,800-mark for the second consecutive days as 2,847 cases were reported in the last 24 hours, bringing the cumulative total to 387,535.
Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah tweeted today that Selangor recorded the highest number of daily cases at 748, followed by Sarawak (717), Kelantan (476), Kuala Lumpur (302), Johor (130) and Negeri Sembilan (105).
A total of 89 cases were recorded in Penang, followed by Sabah (82), Perak (45), Kedah (44), Melaka (42), Pahang (39), Putrajaya (14), Terengganu (11) and Labuan (three). – Bernama
