BINTULU: A total of 286 individuals actively looking for jobs attended took the opportunities to be interviewed at the JOM Kerja Mini Carnival in conjunction with the Bintulu National Consumer Carnival 2023, recently.

Social Security Organisation (SOCSO) Bintulu Branch office manager, Jimmy Hendrick Kijon said the programme held at Times Square Mega Mall Bintulu had received an overwhelming response from job seekers who seized the job opportunities offered.

According to him, SOCSO always helps job seekers and graduates through interview sessions and carnivals organised with the involvement of employers from various sectors.

He added that the career programme organised by SOCSO Bintulu, in collaboration with National Consumer Action Council (MTPN), is a programme that is always looked forward to by job seekers around here because it is one of the suitable platforms to connect job seekers and employers directly and face-to-face.

“In addition, the involvement of five employers from various industries including the oil and gas industry, manufacturing, medicine, construction and many more has opened up opportunities and attracted interest for job seekers to come to the carnival this time, he said.
