KUCHING: The Samarahan Bike Challenge 2024, now in its eighth edition, will welcome 300 participants.
This event is a collaborative effort between the Samarahan District Office, the Samarahan Divisional Tourism Task Force Group (DTTG), and the Sarawak Cycling Association.
It will take place at Jalan Datuk Mohd Musa, Kota Samarahan on May 26.
The planning and organisation details were shared with the Tourism, Creative Industries, and Performing Arts Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, during a courtesy visit by the event’s committee members at the Baitulmakmur Building II today (Feb 26).
The committee said that the event is open to all, featuring eight distinct categories: Men Open (42km), Master A (ages 30 to 39 and above), Master B (ages 40 to 49 and above), Master C (ages 50 and above), SUKMA (ages 16 to 21), Development (ages 15 and under), and Ladies (30 kilometres).
