KUCHING: Assistant Minister of Modernisation of Agriculture, Native Land and Regional Development Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn on presented livestock inputs to 33 participants, yesterrday.
The participants received their approval letters for the projects from Sagah at a ceremony held at Kampung Chupak.
Among the projects involved were for swiflet, pig and poultry rearing.
Sagah, who is also Tarat assemblyman, said the initiative is part of the efforts to increase the income of villagers, especially in rural areas, thus contributing to the state economy and towards making Sarawak a nett exporter of food by 2030.
These projects involved an allocation of RM465,000.
Those interested in these projects can apply through Sarawak Veterinary Department.
