KUCHING: A man was found to have hanged himself in the jungle behind his house at Kampung Tematu here on Sunday.
His brother made the gruesome discovery at around 7.20 am.
Augustine Nohey anak Jikat, 33, was last seen by family members during dinner on Saturday.
His brother found him hanging from a rope flung over a branch. He quickly put the body down and called an ambulance. However, medics who arrived at the scene pronounced him dead.
Police send the remains to Sarawak General Hospital for a post mortem. The case is being investigated.
