KUCHING: A total of 34 students from the Demak Laut constituency Bako zone received higher education incentives from Deputy Minister of Energy and Environmental Sustainability Dr Hazland Hipni.
Dr Hazland, who is also Demak Laut assemblyman, officiated at the incentives presentation ceremony at his office at Menara Pelita, recently.
He expressed his excitement that the group of youths in his constituency are enrolling in courses that are in high demand such as medicine, geomatics, electronic engineering, planning and development and many others.
“I hope that with this incentive, it can uplift the students’ spirits to complete their studies and serve in the government and private sectors,” he said.
