393 receive BR1M in Song district

KAPIT: Three hundred and ninety-three people in Song district received Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) vouchers under Phase 1 of the scheme from Deputy Minister of Rural and Regional Development Datuk Alexander Nanta Linggi at a launching of a presentation of BR1M ceremony on Saturday.

Of the recipients, 322 received RM1,200 each (for those with a household income of less than RM1,200 a month), one received RM900 (for those with a household income of less than RM2, 000 a month) and 70 received RM 450 each (for those with a household income of between RM3,000 and RM4,000 a month).

Also present at the function were Sarawak administrative officer Robert Segie, Bomba officer Federick, Kapit Parliament Special Affairs Officer Ambrose Abong Bugek, heads of departments and community leaders.
