KUCHING: Four million Malaysians have enrolled in the Central Database Hub (PADU) to date.

Sarawak boasts the second-highest number of registrations at 530,000 since PADU’s inception on Jan 2, trailing behind Selangor’s leading figure of 600,000 registrants.

Johor and Perak follow with 390,000 and 360,000 registrations, respectively.

Developed through the collaboration of the Ministry of Economy, the Department of Statistics Malaysia (DOSM), and the Malaysian Administrative Modernisation and Management Planning Unit (MAMPU), PADU leverages local expertise. Its creation also saw contributions from various government bodies and state administrations.

By registering with PADU, citizens ensure their eligibility for targeted subsidies, assistance, and social welfare benefits.

Registrations remain open until March 31. For more information, visit https://www.padu.gov.my/.
