44 stalls at SGH Bazaar Ramadan

KUCHING: Sarawak General Hospital is offering 44 stalls for this year’s Bazaar Ramadan.

Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) deputy director (Medical) Dr Hayati Ja’afar said the bazaar is co-organised by Meditel, Persatuan Kebajikan Islam Perubatan (PERKIP) and Persatuan Kakitangan SGH (PEKAHUS) and is running for the second year.

“Alhamdulillah, the bazaar brings great convenience to SGH employees both Muslims and non-Muslims.

“It is easy for them to have food stalls nearby within the hospital,” she said after officiating at the SGH Meditel Bazaar Ramadan held at the hospital’s compound here yesterday.

Dr Hayati was representing the director, Dr Ngian Hie Ung at the event. Also present was deputy director (Management) Wan Samsulri Wan Hasbi.

Aside from an array of delicacies being sold, items such as clothes, bags, cosmetics products are also available at the bazaar.

The bazaar runs from March 23 till April 21 from 1 pm until 8 pm.
