SARIKEI: Several projects under the state government’s rural transformation programme (RTP) have commenced since its implementation here in 2019.
According to Repok assemblyman Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, a total of 46 RTP projects were successfully implemented in 2019.
“We should be grateful to Chief Minister Datuk Patinggi Abang Johari Tun Openg who has approved the RTP projects throughout Sarikei.”
“This shows that he is concerned about the people in Sarikei and Sarawak as a whole.”
“I believe that Sarikei will improve in terms of its socio-economic and social wellbeing once the approved projects such as Jalan Pasi to Tanjung Manis, Agro Park, and others completed its construction,” he said during the Sarikei District Council appreciation night with Sarikei District Community 2019 on Friday night.
Present to officiate at the event was Assistant Minister of Local Government and Housing Datuk Dr Penguang Manggil.
