KUCHING: Folks in Tebedu will soon enjoy 4G internet coverage.
Tebedu assemblyman Dr Simon Sinang Bada said nine villages, a school and the Tebedu Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security (ICQS) will benefit from 11 Jendela Projects in the area.
He said the 11 sites of the project involved SK parun Suan, Kampung Kuhom Mandeg, Kampung Tepoi, Kpg Sejijag, Kpg Krusen Mawang, Kampung Payau Burus, Kampung Lobang Batu Mawang, Kampung Gahat Mawang, Kampung Daha Seroban, Kampung Taee 2 and Tebedu ICQS.
“These projects will be executed by U Mobile, Celcom, and Maxis with their Sarawak counterpart, VALSA (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd.
“We hope that more will be implemented to achieve a robust platform for 4G coverage, thus boosting digital connectivity nationwide,” he said at the DUN sitting today (Nov 25).
He noted that in achieving the state’s initiative to enhance digital connectivity, these projects will accelerate digital adoption and data utilisation.
