KUCHING: A collision involving two vehicles occurred this afternoon (May 27) along the Sri Aman Access Road near the Sri Aman Petronas station.

The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a distress call at 1.51 pm and quickly dispatched a team from the Sri Aman fire station.

Upon their arrival, firefighters confirmed that the incident involved a four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle and a motorcycle.

The driver of the 4WD, a 70-year-old man, was unharmed, while the female motorcyclist sustained injuries to her left leg.

The injured motorcyclist was taken to Sri Aman hospital before Bomba’s arrival.

The operation ended at 2.13 pm.
