The vehicle, which was reported stolen in Sibu, was found at the Malaysian-Indonesian border.

KUCHING: A four-wheel drive vehicle was seized by a team of Battalion 11, General Operations Force personnel near the Malaysian-Indonesian border here.

The team was patrolling the area when they came upon the vehicle at 2am today.

Following a two-hour stake-out, they decided to tow the vehicle back to headquarters.

The vehicle, estimated to be worth some RM40,000, was reported stolen in Sungai Merah, Sibu on Feb 15 upon further checks.

The case has been handed over to Serian police.
