KUCHING: The driver of a four-wheel-drive (4WD) vehicle was fortunate to escape with only minor injuries after it collided with a Mercedez Benz and landed on its side on the verge of the road.
The accident happened around 3pm on Sunday when the 4WD vehicle, which was moving uphill heading towards Bau from Kuching, collided with a Mercedez Benz which was travelling in the opposite direction.
The impact caused the 4WD vehicle to slide downhill and land on its side on the grass by the roadside.
Both drivers of the two vehicles escaped with only minor injuries. However, the 4WD vehicle was badly damaged.
