BETONG: 50 senior citizens were involved in the “Warga Emas Berkualiti” (WEB) programme held by Betong Division Social Welfare Office through the Counseling and Psychology Unit as well as Senior Citizens Unit yesterday.
Themed “Warga Emas Cergas Diri, Cergas Emosi”, this programme was in line with the new Senior Citizen Policy where their involvement were important in community programmes based on the proliferation of good knowledge and mind.
Betong Division Social Welfare Officer Uwieng Gimos officiated at the event.
The WEB programme was participated by 20 senior citizens from Beladin Senior Citizens Activities Centre and 30 from Betong Senior Citizens Service Centre.
