KUCHING: Around 500 Muslims participated in the Bandarayaku Berselawat programme in conjunction with the Kuching Festival 2023 at Dewan Majma Kompleks Islam Sarawak on Friday.
The main theme was ‘Including Everyone in the Community for a Sustainable City’.
The programme also featured the Nur Ahli Badar group, led by Ustaz Abdullah Asysyafie, who recited Mawlid dan Qasidah.
Additionally, a religious talk titled ‘Mentauladani Rasulullah SAW Dalam Penjagaan Alam Sekitar Lestari’ was delivered by Al Fadil Shaykh Imran Angullia Al-Hafiz.
For the record, this programme was jointly organised by the Sarawak Department of Islamic Religion, Kuching North City Hall (DBKU), the State Mosque Welfare Trust Board (LAKMNS), and the Sarawak Islamic Complex.
Also present was DBKU Mayor Datuk Juanidi Reduan.
