DALAT: A total of 500 packets of bubur lambuk, a savoury rice porridge were distributed to the residents through the Civil Defence Force Dalat District 2024 Porridge Distribution Programme, in front of the Civil Defence District Office (PDPA) here, recently.
District Civil Defence Officer Second Lieutenant (PA) Muhammad Helmi Halim said they distributed the porridge to the residents who passed through the area.
“We also distributed this porridge to vendors and visitors at the Dalat District Ramadan Bazaar. We handed it out to everyone regardless of race and religion,” he said.
He said they had collaborated to carry out the programme to ensure its smooth running.
Additionally, he mentioned that the porridge recipe was from their own team.
“Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly and all 500 packets of porridge were successfully distributed,” he added.
