KUCHING: About 500 guests attended the Petroliam Nasional Berhad (Petronas) Riang Ria Raya 2023 open house event at the Riverside Majestic Hotel here on Wednesday night.
The event, held in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration, started at around 4 pm and ended at 9.30 pm.
Guest of honour, Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, was also present.
Fifty-six children from Rumah Kanak-Kanak Toh Puan Hajah Norkiah received ‘duit Raya’ from Petronas.
However, only 40 of the children were present to receive the donations which were presented by Abang Johari at the event.
The Premier was welcomed by Petronas Executive Vice President and Upstream Chief Executive Officer Datuk Adif Zulkifli, Petronas Group Strategic Relations and Communications Vice President Nooruddin Abdullah @ Liew Sze Hoon and other staff.
Also present were the Minister of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, Transport Minister Datuk Seri Lee Kim Shin, Deputy Minister in the Premier’s Department (Labour, Immigration and Project Monitoring) Datuk Gerawat Gala, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Port Development (Port Development) Datuk Majang Renggi, Petronas Board of Directors member and Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki, as well as other representatives.
