SIBU: A total of 585 compounds were issued to errant individuals for violating the standard operating procedures (SOP) from Jan to Aug 31 this year.
Of the figure, 504 compounds with a value of RM503,000 had already been paid at the Sibu Divisional Health Office.
District Crime Prevention and Community Safety Division chief, DSP Ariffin Bahar explained that the amounts of payments were based on the records received by the office.
“This is based on the payment records received by the Ministry of Health (MOH),” he said when met at the Jalan Paradom roadblock on Monday (Sept 6).
