KUCHING: A total of 52 Rumah Mesra Rakyat 1Malaysia (RMR1M) have been handed to the recipients in Kampung Sungai Midin Resettlement in Samariang here yesterday.
The ‘Key House Presentation’ ceremony was of f iciated by Assistant Minister of Law, State- Federal Relations and Project Monitoring, Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali.
“Ea ch hous e c o s t ing a t RM68,000 and is given RM20,000 subsidies by the government. They just only pay the renting amount of RM150 per month for 27-year,” said Hasidah, adding the project was completed after passing three phases.
She said installation of electricity will commence on end of November. The project is collaboration between Housing Development Corporation (HDC) and National Housing Corporation (SPNB).
