KUCHING: Sarawakians are encouraged to fill up 5,513 vacancies in the police force.
State police Management Department chief SAC Norzanah Buang said the vacancies are for the posts of Inspector (Grade YA13), Constable (Grade YA1) and Auxiliary Constable (Grade YT1).
“A total of 159 vacancies for the Inspector YA13 post have received 16,094 applications,” she told a press conference at the General Operation Force (GOF) headquarters in Batu Kawa here yesterday.
As for the Constable YA1 post, Norzanah said that there were 4,636 vacancies available and 43,716 applications have been received.
Meanwhile, the Auxiliary Constable YT1 post (718 vacancies) has received 4,784 applications as of now.
She said that the applications can only be made via the PDRM website at https://epengambilanpdrm.rmp.gov.my/ and that applications not made through the website will not be entertained.
As such, all information regarding recruitment, interviews and tests will be posted in the website. Only those who have been accepted will be notified in writing.
The closing date for application for the Constable post is on Jan 14.
