LUNDU: A total of 56 referees participated in the Referee Seminar and Fitness Test at the Lundu Mini Stadium last weekend.
Referee Development Officer Sarawak, Marshid Dahlan said the participants were referees who were already registered with Samarahan Division Football Association (PBBS) including those from Lundu and Siburan.
“The seminar and examination was organised by PBBS to improve the fitness of the referees,” said Marshid.
According to Marshid, he believed the seminar and examination will prepare the referees to handle matches when given the chance, “added Marshid again.
The opening ceremony was officiated by the Youth chief of Parti Bumiputera Bersatu Tanjong Datu, Haji Jamsari Ahmad.
