SIBU: A total of 57 students from seven secondary schools in Sibu took part in the 1st Kinetic Food Student April Shootout competition at the Sibu Archery Centre at Wong King Huo Road, here, on Sunday.
The participating schools were Catholic High School, SMK Lanang, SMK Bukit Lima, SMK Methodist, SMK Tiong Hin, SMK Sacred Heart and SM Wong Nai Siong.
Amy Wong Sien Tin of Catholic High School won the girl’s 15 category while Firtriah Nur Haziqah of SMK Lanang was second and Charren Loh of SMK Bukit Lima was third.
For boy’s 15 category, David Lau of SMK Bukit Lima won first place, while Desmond Ho of SMK Tiong Hin was second and Abang Fitri of SMK Bukit Lima third.
Meanwhile, for the girl’s 18 category, Syazatul of SMK Bukit Lima won first place, while Amanda Ting (SMK Methodist) and Jaclyn Sung (SMK Tiong Hin) won second and third places respectively.
Jacky Sung of SMK Tiong Hin won first place for the boy’s 18 category followed by Lin Shiuh Heng (Catholic High School) and Aaron Loh (SMK Lanang) respectively.
The top 8 from each group won Royal B Honey plus Wanfa and Daddy mee as prizes given
by acting marketing manager of Kinetic Food Trading Sdn Bhd, Sia Puon Ek.
