KUCHING: Sixty-five graduates of Kolej Saujana Hospitality & Tourism Academy (SATT) received their scrolls after completing their diploma and certificate programmes here.
Its 16th convocation ceremony was held at the Dormani Hotel here.
“Kolej SATT continues to play a crucial role in developing skilled graduates in the culinary, hospitality, and tourism sectors, while also contributing to the growth of the hospitality and tourism industry, thus positively impacting the local economy,” said Datuk Mohammad Safri Datuk Abdillah, Deputy President of the Sarawak Chamber of Commerce who presided over the convocation.
“These fields remain in high demand, especially in the current context,” he said, adding that after two years of virtual convocation ceremonies, the 16th Convocation was especially meaningful as it brought graduates together in person.
Since its establishment in 1997, Kolej SATT has seen over 4,800 diploma and certificate students and nearly 12,000 training course participants excel in their studies and training.
