SERIAN: Sixty-six youth members of Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Serian district participated in a two-day First Aid Intensive Course here on March 22 and 23.
The event was held at the MRC Serian district headquarters.
The MRC youth members are from six Youth Units of MRC Serian, namely SMK Serian, SMK Tebakang, SMK Taee, SMK Simunjan No. 1, SMK Balai Ringin and SMK Tebedu.
MRC Serian District chairman Dr Kiu Chiong Chin officiated at the closing of the course and gave away certificates to the participants.
Organising chairperson Phang Nyuk Lan commended the six youth units for sending participants to attend the course.
She also expressed gratitude to the teachers-in-charge, school management and parents for making the event a success.
