MUKAH: Seven sets of nomination papers for candidates of the 14th General Election were sold to the public here as of yesterday.
According to a source from Mukah District Office, five sets were sold from April 19 to April 25 while two sets were taken up yesterday morning.
However, the names of the buyers were not revealed. It is believed that more will follow to buy the forms which cost RM20 per set, until the final day tomorrow (April 28).
Speculations are rife Mukah will see a three-cornered fight, with the Independent candidate merely a spoiler.
It is learnt that the nomination centre as well as vote counting centre for P.213 Mukah will be at Dewan Suarah Mesra here.
