KANOWIT: About 70 people took part in the Family Fun Run which was held in conjunction with the 210th Police Day celebration at Fort Emma Square here recently.

The run was a joint collaboration between the police, Kanowit Information Department, Special Af fai rs Depar tment , Lukut /Penyulau 1Malaysia Community, Boustead Holding Berhad, Kanowit District Office and Kanowit District Council.

Among the act ivi t ies held together at the event were zumba and ‘poco poco’ dance, lucky draw, and live band performance by Iban rock band, Masterpiece.

The 3km fun run around Kanowit town was graced by District Officer, Katis Noel Nyabong. Also present were Kanowit Police chief, DSP Daniel Benjamin, Kanowi t Fi re and Rescue Department (Bomba) chief, Arrahman Chik and Kanowit Information Department head, Donny Minggu Ling
