KUCHING: A total of 80 industry leaders and tourism professionals from Sarawak and Singapore attended the ‘Singapore-Sarawak Travel Connect 2024’ networking lunch at the Riverside Majestic Hotel Puteri Wing here on Wednesday.

According to Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office – Singapore (STATOS) chief executive officer (CEO), Chew Chang Guan, the office is dedicated in promoting Sarawak as a premier tourism destination.

“This event not only marks a significant milestone for our office but also reinforces our commitment to strengthening ties between Singapore and Sarawak through impactful tourism collaborations,” he said in his speech.

He then said STATOS remains committed to promoting Sarawak’s diverse tourism offerings, fostering partnerships with Singaporean institutions, and enhancing visitor experiences through innovative tourism initiatives.
