DALAT: A total of 800 people from Dalat and Oya received their Covid-19 vaccines at the Stadium Perpaduan Dalat vaccination centre (PPV) on Wednesday (July 14).
Of the number, 280 persons received their first dose and 520 others the second dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.
A spokesman for the Dalat District CITF which organised the event, said the recipients were happy and confident to resume their daily activities although they still have to follow the standard operating procedures (SOP).
The spokesman added more and more people were now aware of the importance of being vaccinated as the vaccine could help strengthen their immune system.
He said the recipients, who had completed their second dose were thankful to the authorities, and also appreciated all those who were involved in the vaccination process here.
