KUCHING: A total of 35 projects were presented by Malaysian Skills Diploma (DKM) students during PPKS final year project exhibition held at PPKS Kuching last Thursday.
The exhibition which was graced by PPKS executive director, Hallman Sabri, involved students from Computer System Administration, Information System Administration, Industrial Electronics, and Mechatronics and Industrial Automation.
PPKS Kuching Campus director, John Rizal Biki, said the annual exhibition is a platform for final year students to utilise their skills and knowledge to come up with exciting inventions and products. “Our final year students are creating their own inventions and products.
“Their ability to present the products to visitors will be an added advantage to prepare them for the working environment later. “Industry players were also invited to review and comment on our students’ inventions and products,” John said.
Representatives of industries during the exhibition were from Toko Electronic (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, Taiyo Yuden (Sarawak) Sdn Bhd, Sarawak Information Systems Sdn Bhd (SAINS), and Sarawak Electronics
and Supporting Industries Companies Association (SECA).
