Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) hosted the two homes as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme.
During the ceremony, SEDC and the Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Abdul Taib Mahmud and wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Ragad Kurdi Taib handed over financial contributions and daily necessities to the children.
The ceremony included Maghrib, Isyak, and Tarawih prayers for the Muslim guests.
Present were SEDC Sarawak chairman, Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr Abdul Aziz Husain and SEDC general manager Abdul Hadi Abdul Kadir.
