KUCHING: More than 800 people gathered during the weekend for the ‘BandarrayaKu Berselawat’ at Darul Ikwan Mosque of Kampung Muara Tebas as part of the 31st Kuching Day programme.
Women, Family and Childhood Development Assistant Minister Rosey Yunus and Dr Morshidi Ahmad (on behalf of Kuching North Commissioner Datuk Abang Wahap Abang Julai) were at the event to which the organisers also invited a famous speaker from Indonesia, Habib Jindan Novel.
This is the first event of its kind organised in this scale here, especially for the Muslims.
It hoped that it would have a strong impact on local Muslim youth and encourage them to appreciate and learn more about Islam.
